Green IT trends, strategies, new technologies, and best practices will be the topics of discussion at the Uptime Institute's fifth annual Symposium, May 17 to 19 at the Hilton New York. Global computing and data center industry thought leaders and experts on enterprise computing's productivity, energy efficiency, and eco-sustainability will be among the featured speakers at the symposium.

 

Theorists and practitioners from such global enterprises as Amazon, APC, Dell, the European Commission, HP, Intel, Jones Lang LaSalle, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Microsoft, Nokia, and Yahoo! will speak along with Uptime Institute data center experts and analysts from The 451 Group and Tier1 Research.

 

“The intent of the Symposium is to bring the best minds in the business together with all stakeholders to discuss how the IT industry, users and solutions providers alike, can meet their collective goals of improving energy efficiency in concert with improving business productivity along with mission-critical computing availability and reliability,” said Bruce Taylor, executive producer of the Symposium.
