Engineering challenges

This fast-track design-build project required an intense level of rigor from Sebesta Blomberg. High-end security systems, state-of-the-art HVAC strategies, and complex building automation systems were thoroughly tested while accommodating a compressed schedule. More than 1,500 functional performance tests were developed, conducted, and tracked to completion to ensure that building systems operate effectively. Aggressive scrutiny was applied to key components, such as central plant heating/cooling systems, data centers, building control centers, and emergency electrical systems.

Solutions

Sebesta Blomberg drew on its national corporate presence and assembled an experienced team to accommodate the demanding schedule and extraordinary scope of work. Equipment and systems were tested as they became available. Unparalleled flexibility and clear communication lines were required and established with project stakeholders. Construction completion and full complex operation were achieved one month ahead of schedule.
