Battery cabinets
The DataSafe 16-V battery cabinets from EnerSys have earned seismic certification by OSHPD.
EnerSys has earned a special seismic certification by the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) in California, for its DataSafe 16-V battery cabinets. The DataSafe 16-V battery cabinets were certified in accordance with ASCE 7-05 Chapter 13 and meet the seismic regulations for the design of equipment and nonstructural components that help protect operations. The cabinets were approved in the first round of the OSHPD testing process at the ISO/TEC 17025-accredited Environmental Testing Lab in Dallas. OSHPD requires multiple units to be tested on a seismic shake table, which is used to test the resistance of structures to seismic shaking and ground motion.
