Recent promotions and hires

Easton,

Penn-based Victaulic announced that Dr. Richard A. Bucher has joined Victaulic

as vice president of product development in the engineering department. In the

position, Bucher will provide leadership to Victaulic product development

efforts, as well as strategic planning regarding the development of new

products and the investigation of new technologies and business opportunities.

Libertyville, IL-based Chloride North American announced two

appointments to its sales team. Jackie Remillard has been named the company’s

new area account manager for the Midwest for responsibility for managing

strategic partnerships and developing new relationships with customers in that

region. Additionally, Laurie Kratohwil has taken over of the Choloride inside

sales team in charge of lead generation and inquiry qualification.

Dallas-based Smith Seckman Reid Inc . hired Jared Edwards as

project manager and mechanical engineer in the firm’s Dallas office. Edwards will be responsible

for the design of HVAC systems for health care facilities, data centers,

laboratory facilities, and higher education institutions.

Aurora,

Colo-based Merrick & Co . hired Matt West, PLS, as director of surveying. In

the role, West will oversee the strategic expansion of Merrick’s

surveying practice.  West’s

responsibilities at Merrick include operational

leadership, strategic planning, business development, technology innovation,

and career mentoring.

La Crosse, Wis.-based Michaels Engineering announced the addition of new energy efficiency division

team member Andy Plzak .

Chicago-based RJA Group Inc . announced that Carl F.

Baldassarra, PE, FSFPE, joined the company as executive vice president of

project delivery. Baldassarra will head up key business functions and processes

associated with project delivery for RJA and SAKO clients worldwide.

Baldassarra will provide the bridge within the company between business

development, operations and finance to help deliver efficient client services

on major multi-office initiatives.

Huntsville, Ala.-based WestWind Technologies named Chester Schickling as vice president of business

development. With more than 35 years of targeted marketing and sales management

experience, Schickling will lead business development team efforts on domestic

and international programs.
