Baltimore-based Danfoss moved its North American
headquarters to Baltimore
Crossroads@95 , a new 1,000-acre, 46,200-sq ft facility. The building meets U.S Green
Building Council’s LEED
for Commercial Interiors certification. Additionally, Jorgen M. Clausen ,
Danfoss chairman of the board and former CEO, received the Cleantech Pioneer
Award at the Cleantech Forum XXII in Copenhagen,
Denmark.
Clausen received the award for leading the strategy to minimize the consumption
of raw materials and energy in the manufacturing process.
Danbury, Conn.-based Belimo
Americas will move into a new energy efficient building in Sparks, Nev.,
which will provide a real-life showcase for the company’s own energy-saving
products. The new facility will be responsible for final assembly and
distribution of valves and actuators.
