This week Morrissey Goodale reported five deals in the U.S. and three international deals involving companies from the United Kingdom.
STV (New York, NY) (ENR #32), a national leader in design, planning, and construction management, signed a definitive agreement with The Pritzker Organization (Chicago, IL) to recapitalize the ownership of STV and position the company for future growth.  Link to details
In the first of two non-traditional deals this week, Willdan Group (Anaheim, CA) (ENR #58) acquired Energy and Environmental Economics (E3) (San Francisco, CA), a data-driven energy analysis and strategy consulting firm.  Link to details
In the second non-traditional deal of the week, ENR’s top-ranked global design firm, Jacobs (Dallas, TX) (ENR #1), acquired a 50% share in Simetrica (London, UK), a research consultancy specializing in social value measurement and wellbeing analysis.  Link to details


ENR’s #71 ranked environmental firm, Trinity Consultants (Dallas, TX), acquired WorkingBuildings (Atlanta, GA), a specialty consulting firm that provides Owner’s Advocate services. Trinity Consultants is backed by private equity firm Sentinel Capital Partners (New York, NY).  Link to details
International telecom engineering services firm Tower Engineering Professionals (TEP) (Raleigh, NC) (ENR #155) acquired telecommunications engineering and inspection firm Pier Structural Engineering Corp. (Waterloo, Canada). TEP is backed by private equity firm Prairie Capital (Chicago, IL).  Link to details
Worley (North Sydney, Australia), ENR’s #7 ranked international design firm, acquired 3sun Group (Norfolk, UK). The transaction will combine the companies’ complementary offshore capabilities to bring a complete engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and maintenance offering to the global offshore wind market.  Link to details
Multidisciplinary engineering consultancy Hydrock (Bristol, UK) acquired MRB Consulting Engineers (Leeds, UK). MRB delivers building services design and environmental engineering consultancy services. Hydrock is backed by private equity firm BGF (London, UK).  Link to details
