This week Morrissey Goodale reported three deals in the United States and one international deal involving companies from the United Arab Emirates and the UK.



Architecture firm, Hyman Hayes Associates (Albany, NY) bought Loucks/Franko Architecture (LFArch) (Johnstown, NY). Hyman Hayes has an extensive portfolio of health care projects, including hospitals and outpatient clinics. LFArch’s portfolio includes state government, green buildings and general construction/repair. Link to details


H2M architects + engineers (Melville, NY) (ENR #241) acquired Frank S. Smith, Architect (Maspeth, NY), an architecture firm with projects that have included single-family homes, multi-unit apartment buildings, commercial spaces and office buildings, industrial and warehouse spaces, religious and institutional properties. Consulting, engineering, and construction services firm Atwell (Southfield, MI) (ENR #248) acquired the assets of the Tempe, AZ based survey office of Morrison-Maierle (Helena, MT) (ENR #324). Link to details


STV (New York, NY) (ENR #42) acquired Diversified Project Management (DPM) (Newton, MA), a leading provider of owner’s project management services. STV provides a range of construction management, planning, engineering, architectural, and environmental services for energy, transportation, infrastructure and facilities projects. Link to details


Interior design firm, Interprise Design (Addison, TX) acquired Lee Design Group (Dallas, TX). The deal adds an architecture practice to Interprise Design. Link to details


Specialist global consultancy, Athesis Group (London, UK) acquired The Environmental Partnership (TEP) (Dubai, UAE), an environmental and sustainability consulting firm. TEP works for many large property development, energy, public and corporate clients. Link to details


Private equity firm, Cortec Group (New York, NY) acquired IBA Holdings (New York, NY) which does business as Vidaris and LPI. Vidaris and LPI are leading specialty architectural and engineering consulting firms, respectively, providing technical, value-added advisory, inspection and testing services. Link to details
