UL and RJA announce partnership
Two leaders in fire safety, Underwriters Laboratories and RJA Group Inc., have announced a partnership in the field of fire safety evaluation.
In the hopes to better evaluate fire safety in buildings, a partnership has been made between Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and RJA Group Inc. (RJA). UL mainly works on product certification, while RJA handles fire protection engineering.
The project will allow the partners to review the designs of fire detection, alarm systems, sprinklers, special hazard fire protectors, and smoke controllers in buildings. During the construction stage, fire resistance rating compliance and fire protection systems installation will be evaluated by representatives from both companies.
