Public-Private CHP Team-Up

Working with 17 Fortune 500 companies and other entities, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has formed the Combined Heat and Power Partnership to promote cogeneration. Companies such as Bethlehem Steel, Caterpillar, ExxonMobil and General Motors will work with the EPA to promote the use of CHP technologies.

Companies such as Bethlehem Steel, Caterpillar, ExxonMobil and General Motors will work with the EPA to promote the use of CHP technologies. EPA is to support “accelerated development” of new CHP projects in a variety of ways, including streamlined permitting.
