Microchannel heat exchangers

By Consulting Specifying Engineer Staff January 1, 2009

Microchannel heat exchangers produced by Danfoss enable the construction of system that can reduce refrigerant costs by up to 40%. The units are built out of aluminum, which is easily recyclable and is better suited to provide corrosion resistance than copper. A fin design with a short airway through the exchanger reduces airside pressure drop, cuts noise, and increases efficiency.
