HVAC/R issues take center stage at Chicago show

The 2009 AHR Expo--taking place Jan. 26-28 in Chicago--will tackle the latest technologies and trends affecting HVAC/R professionals.

With 70 seminars and workshops presented by industry experts, the 2008 AHR Expo —taking place Jan. 26-28, 2009, at McCormick Place in Chicago—will offer professionals in the field a range of educational programming, including sessions on sustainability, best practices, and emerging technologies.

In addition to 30 educational sessions and workshops offered by the ASHRAE Learning Institute, 29 free sessions will be presented by 18 associations during the show. The free events include sessions on duct-construction standards, indoor air quality, technician training, condensing/non-condensing boilers, and hydronic radiant control strategies.

Several half- and full-day educational events will be held in conjunction with the show, including a LEED Implementation for Building Operations and Maintenance Seminar held by USGBC on Monday, Jan. 26.
