The firm helps clients transform and grow their design and environmental companies into high-level performers through strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, marketing consulting, and executive search. Its principals and lead consultants have worked with design and environmental firms of nearly every type and size—from local, single-discipline firms to multi-discipline, multi-office international giants.
During his career consulting to the AEC industry, Goodale has facilitated strategic business planning sessions for design and environmental firms across the nation, developed and implemented high-impact marketing, business development, and PR programs, conducted numerous merger and acquisition searches for both buyers and sellers, and served as trusted advisor and coach for dozens of industry executives.
Before helping to establish Morrissey Goodale, Goodale was the Corporate Strategic Marketing Manager at PBS&J where he was charged with improving and implementing progressive corporate initiatives geared to position the firm for successful, large-scale client pursuits. Prior to that, he worked at ZweigWhite for nearly 12 years, and headed the firm’s strategic business planning and marketing business units. Goodale has authored more than a dozen articles for Civil Engineering Magazine and CE News, and has been quoted many times in various industry publications and newspapers. He was also a frequent contributor to ZweigWhite’s publications and events, and authored The Healthcare Market for AEP and Environmental Consulting Firms, the first of ZweigWhite’s market intelligence reports. Always a top-rated speaker, Goodale has delivered presentations around the country on a wide variety of management topics at AIA, ACEC, and NSPE events.
Goodale received his MBA from the Sawyer School of Business at Suffolk University in 1994 and earned a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1990.
