Gasser has managed projects that include multiple geothermal HVAC renovations, high-performance building automation strategies, LED lighting systems and building envelope improvements. Gasser has led all phases of energy savings performance contract projects and has a thorough understanding of building systems, energy conservation measures, building commissioning, measurement and verification and project financing. He uses his knowledge and experience to help building owners renovate their buildings in a cost-effective and energy-efficient manner. Gasser also mentors and leads a team of engineers tasked with delivering exemplary projects and energy reduction results. Gasser has been able to deliver five buildings scoring perfect 100 Energy Star ratings with original construction ages dating back to the 1970s and is now managing a team where he mentors other engineers to achieve similar results. Recent projects have included a host of K-12 schools that required energy savings performance contracts. Gasser enjoys sharing his wisdom at industry conferences and university organizations. He is a repeat speaker at the Kentucky School Plant Management Association Conference and has written technical articles and white papers on improving energy efficiency. Gasser also is a mentor to young engineers and is passionate about guiding them into engineering or other STEM careers. Outside of work, Gasser is a passionate basketball player and organizes pickup games with other engineers to help build camaraderie. He enjoys traveling to national parks out West and going hiking and being part of nature. Gasser also loves spending time with his wife and their two young daughters.
