Morris joined PEDCO full-time in 2009 after earning his electrical engineering degree. He has been involved in the design of electrical facilities for commercial, industrial, data center, and health care facilities with technical expertise in power distribution and lighting design. His recent projects have focused on generator, power, and telecommunications system design and installation. Recent projects include project electrical engineer for Ohio National Financial Services responsible for power design, generator installation, and equipment witness-testing procedures; project lead engineer for Columbia Sportswear responsible for project team coordination, and power and telecommunications design; and project electrical engineer for Fidelity Investments responsible for equipment specifications, power design, and generator installation. His project management and engineering leadership skills have earned him the respect and trust of his clients. One area where Morris stands out is in his personal integrity. He leads by example, holds himself and others accountable to commitments, and sets high standards when it comes to his or his project team’s deliverables. His commitment to his community is demonstrated by his hands-on approach through Crossroads Community Church. Morris is an audio volunteer for weekend services, weddings, and special events at the church. He is responsible for setup and teardown of the church stage each week, for the band on Thursday evenings, and for running the sound console for five services on weekends. He records all of the services and mixes them to be posted online as audio and video podcasts. In his spare time Morris loves running, playing music, and riding motorcycles.
