The U.S. Green Building Council held the first public comment period on its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for High Performance Operations from Aug. 2 to Sept. 2, 2007, receiving over 650 comments during the first period. The second public comment period for this LEED rating system will be open for 14 days, from Monday, Sept. 24, to Monday, Oct. 8, 2007 (closing at midnight PDT).
