Remote monitoring service

AERCO’s OnAER Remote Monitoring Service continuously monitors systems and immediately alerts users via e-mail to a fault occurrence or decline in equipment performance. The OnAER Remote Monitoring Service uses computer tracking to monitor, record, and analyze AERCO boiler systems. Problems in systems are pinpointed in real time, allowing for quick resolution and preventing lost revenue due to undetected faults. Early detection and alerts sent by the system can help avoid lengthy and expensive service interruption, increasing worker efficiency. If noncritical problems are detected, customers have the opportunity to schedule service at their convenience to minimize disruptions.

Motor control module

The Building Automation Starter (BAS) motor controls from Cerus feature the patent-pending Smartstart Control Module for seamless integration with digital controls. The starters accept dry voltage inputs from 12 to 250 Vac for activation by control systems without interposing relays. Other control options include auto run, fireman’s override, fault, proof of flow to detect loss of load, and SmartStart predictive calibration. Integrated LED pilot lights and Hand/Off/Auto keypad are standard, simplifying unit setup and verification. A single model accepts 208 to 600 Vac and motor loads up to 40 A, eliminating discrete thermal overloads and numerous contactor coil voltages.

Data management software

Eaton’s Foreseer X-Class software empowers companies to monitor their entire power system in a single power management system that covers multiple sites and facilities. Foreseer X-Class software is designed to monitor, track, and analyze data from more than 100,000 devices simultaneously across an enterprise. With data handling and scalability, Foreseer X-Class software gathers data and status information from power, environmental, safety, and security systems to help companies reduce energy consumption as well as unplanned downtime. With analysis and reporting capabilities, the Foreseer X-Class software provides a customized executive dashboard to help track and predict power usage trends and events, and improve energy efficiency.

Power management reporting

Eaton’s Power Xpert Reporting 3.0 helps customers make sense of exhaustive power monitoring data and identify vital statistics to improve the efficiency and reliability of facilities. Power Xpert Reporting is a software engineered for energy, health care, information technology, and facility managers to track and compare systems within facilities and across the enterprise. Standard and custom reports help customers take advantage of government incentives, avoid penalties, and reduce their carbon footprint. Power Xpert Reporting provides 13 ready-to-go report templates with intuitive graphics and charts to help customers understand and manage critical power systems and energy flow as a whole.

Building system transparency application

Siemens’ Facility Prime mobile application for the APOGEE BAS enables fast, convenient, mobile interaction with a multitude of facility conditions. Facility Prime provides two-way interaction between users and the building automation systems they manage. The application connects users to APOGEE BAS control and monitoring functions via wireless network connectivity. The application directly interacts with BACnet/IP and APOGEE P2 field panels. Users can also develop their own customized interface graphics using Facility Prime Editor.
