Bristol Compressors, Bristol, Va., is being acquired by New York-based KPS Capital Partners LP from Milwaukee-based Johnson Controls Inc.

E-Mon , Langhorne, Pa., maker of electric submetering equipment, announced its sale by Hunt Power, L.P. to the E-Mon management team backed by private equity investor Branford Castle, Inc.
