Frank Muscarella, PE, LEED AP, 39
Senior Vice President, WSP Flack + Kurtz, New York
Manhattan College, BS Mechanical Engineering
Muscarella started his career 20 years ago at WSP Flack + Kurtz. His projects span the globe, ranging from New York to California, Hong Kong to France, and Saudi Arabia to Brazil. His engineering and interpersonal skills earned him a recent promotion to senior vice president. Muscarella is wholly dedicated to building and maintaining strong relationships with his staff, his clients, and his family. With repeat clients that include The New York Times, Brookfield Properties, BASF, and various other Fortune 500 companies, Muscarella has a reputation for thoroughness, understanding, and efficiency as a project manager, as well as creativity and innovation. When Muscarella is asked a question, he listens and takes the time to explain the answer. His interest in engineering was sparked by his mentor, which in turn inspired his involvement with the ACE Mentor Program, where his teaching and project management skills encourage young adults to explore careers in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. He has become a leader in sustainability and energy services, continuously pushing himself and his abilities while supporting those around him. In addition to his professional career, he has strong ties to his family and community. He wants his two children to have the support of a large family like he did growing up, with typical Sundays involving 20-member family gatherings. Muscarella’s generosity is as apparent in his community as in his workplace. He and his wife support their local church, hospital, and Boy Scout troop.
