Power Xpert C445 intelligent motor management and protection relay that provides energy awareness, safety and diagnostics. Courtesy: EatonPower Xpert C445 intelligent motor management and protection relay by Eaton is designed for global heavy industrial and continuous process customers to improve energy awareness, operator safety, and support operations through enhanced diagnostics. It incorporates line, load, and motor monitoring and protection; patented advanced control and diagnostics algorithms; and extensive onboard industrial communication protocols. Power Xpert C445 can be integrated into the system based applications on the compact footprint panel space. Users can eliminate dedicated control systems by programming the C445 to implement automatic reacceleration schemes. The Power Xpert C445 provides safe protection of motors in potentially explosive areas and may be used by downstream oil and gas, pulp and paper, and sanitary wastewater treatment.
