Abstract: Current energy codes and standards focus on building design while largely ignoring building operations-where most of the energy is being used and where commissioning has the greatest impact. This session will introduce an emerging energy performance concept, outcome-based pathways, designed to provide both flexibility and the measurable and verifiable results that policymakers are looking for.
