Abstract: Energy efficiency opportunities in wastewater treatment facilities can be difficult to find because of health and safety concerns, narrowly focused energy codes, tight ventilation and environmental regulations, severe operational conditions, and client expectations. This session will discuss where codes and standard approaches can fall short, and discuss other more successful approaches in this unique environment.
