ENR’s 46th ranked global design firm, Hatch (Mississauga, Canada), merged with Shrader Engineering (Houston, TX) to establish Hatch Shrader. The merger creates Hatch’s US center for innovation in digital technologies for power, automation, controls, communication, physical and cyber security, and smart city solutions. This is the 17th AE deal in Texas this year. Link to details

Braun Intertec (Minneapolis, MN) (ENR #108), acquired GME Consulting Services (Dallas, TX), an engineering and testing firm. Braun is a geotechnical engineering, testing, and environmental consulting firm. Link to details

Method Architecture (Houston, TX), which was formed in 2016, acquired Architecture Plus (Austin, TX). This marks the 19th deal in Texas this year. Method’s leadership is exploring acquisition opportunities in Dallas, San Antonio, and Denver for the firm’s next deal. Link to details
