Bureau Veritas (Neuilly-sur-Seine, France) (ENR #34) acquired CERTEST (San Miniato, Italy), a laboratory that provides physical and chemical testing services to luxury international brands. Bureau Veritas is a laboratory testing, inspection, and certification services firm. Link to details

Utility engineering, consulting, and compliance services firm, EN Engineering (Warrenville, IL) (ENR #113) acquired Total Control Solutions (Caldwell, OH), a provider of automation solutions and engineering services to natural gas customers. Link to details

TRC Companies (Lowell, MA) (ENR #32) completed the acquisition of the 850-person Professional Services business segment of Willbros Group (Tulsa, OK) in an all cash transaction valued at $130 million. The agreement to acquire the division of Willbros was announced in October. Willbros Professional Services will become the fourth operating segment in the TRC portfolio called "Pipeline Services." Soletanche Freyssinet (Rueil-Malmaison, France), the VINCI division specialized in civil engineering, has increased its holding in Grupo Rodio Kronsa (Madrid, Spain) to 100 percent. Rodio Kronsa, previously jointly controlled with ICA (Mexico City, Mexico), holds all Soletanche Freyssinet locations operating in Central America, the Iberian Peninsula, and Morocco.
