Courtesy: Mitsubishi ElectricThe Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) zoning R2 series and Y series cooling and heating systems offer high efficiency and a smaller footprint. Their heating startup can be used with a variety of commercial applications.

The R2 series and Y series come with zone control and flexibility of installation, offering smaller footprints and better efficiencies. Both the R2 and Y series units take advantage of the compressor technology and use intelligent controls. The R2 series units are the only two-pipe systems to offer simultaneous cooling and heating. Other features include simultaneous cooling and heating to 14 F ambient conditions, quiet operation (58 to 64 dBA), and support of an extended setpoint range.
