The First AHR Expo Product of the Year Awarded This Year

This year, for the first time, the Innovation Awards Competition at the AHR Expo, jointly sponsored by the International Exposition Company, Atlanta-based ASHRAE and the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute, Arlington, Va., presented an overall “AHR Expo Product of the Year.” This year’s award went to Emerson Climate Technologies for its Copeland Scroll Digital compressor.

“Our company views this award as a huge win for our business,” said Craig Rainey, director of marketing at Emerson. Winning the award shows the industry our commitment to investing in technology to develop new and innovative products that improve human comfort and reduce energy consumption.d into nine different Award competition categories. The Copeland Scroll Digital™ compressor received the Innovation Award for the cooling category and then proceeded to earn the ultimate honor, the Product of the Year award.
