ZoneMaster and ZoneSentinel Type 1 models by MTL Instruments


MTL Instruments’ new ZoneMaster PRO Type 1 and ZoneSentinel Type 1 models allow users to install UL1449 3rd Edition listed premium surge protection before or after the main building disconnect. These models, listed at 20 kA in level, can be installed in a UL96A-certified lighting protection system. The versatility and flexibility of the ZoneMaster PRO Type 1 makes it well-suited for switchgear, distribution, and branch panels in a broad range of applications. The Type 1 ZoneSentinel can be used for distribution boards and small service entrance locations to provide both cost-effective and premium surge protection. The ZoneMaster PRO Type 1 features all mode protection and options to meet the most complex protection requirements. With replaceable, bolt-in modules, the ZoneMaster PRO Type 1 delivers enhanced redundancy, thermal, and short-circuit fusion and a fault monitor and audible alarm. The ZoneSentinel can be used alone or in combination with a ZoneMaster to provide the lowest suppression voltages available in the industry.
