The Consumable Modules are designed to be easily and safely replaced by facility personnel when protection is compromised. Power and Protection Status LEDs let the end user know when surge protection has been compromised and the Consumable Module needs to be replaced. Because the Surge Protective Device is connected directly to the incoming power source, everything down stream is protected including some investments that are often overlooked such as high end recessed lighting systems. Designed for SPD Type 1 or Type 2 applications in a variety of enclosures, the product is appropriate for commercial applications, including HVAC, security systems, and entertainment systems.
