The SMP gateway is engineered to gather data, translate protocols, strengthen cyber security, and provide a substation interface for mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, as well as other commercial and industrial applications. Its user interface includes an alarm-management system, single-line diagram capabilities, and commissioning tools to reduce costs and extend product capabilities. The SMP gateway can also be used as a substation gateway and human-machine interface (HMI), providing customers with an alternative to PC-based HMI solutions.
