ORBIT 6 compressors are suitable for air conditioning systems and heat pumps.


BITZER’s ORBIT 6 and 8 scroll compressors provide high isentropic efficiency and their excellent energy efficiency.The five models in the ORBIT 6 series offer a delivery rate of between 840 and 1620 CFH (60 Hz). With a cooling capacity of between 137 and 261 kBtu/h at 60 Hz, they are suitable for air conditioning systems and heat pumps. The compressors have a delivery rate of between 1260 and 3300 CFH (60 Hz), achieve high efficiency rates, and their operating noise levels are up to 3 dB(A) lower than comparable compressors. BITZER has developed the compressors for use in water-cooled chillers for systems with low saturation discharge temperatures, and are equipped with permanent magnet motors. They have been designed for use in air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and in individual, short circuits. The semi-hermetic ECOLINE reciprocating compressors, with the CRII capacity control, can be flexibly set to 10% to 100%. BITZER's semi-hermetic CO2 reciprocating compressor for sub-critical and trans-critical cycle applications have delivery volumes between 56 and 1998 CFH, and for the trans-critical cycle series, it is between 183 and 1092 CFH.
