Falcon's scalable UPS series is a compact, stand-alone power protection system that may be connected in parallel. Courtesy: Falcon ElectricFalcon Electric's FN scalable UPS series uses 3, 4, 5, 6, or 10 kVA rackmount models, providing up to 30 kVA with N+1 redundancy or up to 40 kVA when N+1 redundancy is not required. It is designed for critical applications like industrial manufacturing and process control, 911 call centers, and computer networks that require scalability and/or N+1 redundancy for continuous operations. The unit's ECO green mode setting increases the ac/ac efficiency up to 97% during times when the connected equipment is not in use. When not in ECO Mode, the FN series operates at a 90% ac/ac efficiency level. The FN scalable UPS features input power factor correction, which lowers current demands on building wiring.
