PBA promotes Allen, Mrak, and Peck to senior associate

Peter Basso Associates (PBA) is pleased to announce three promotions. Celebrating promotions to senior associate are Phillip S. Allen, PE, LEED AP, QCxP; Steven V. Mrak, PE; and Scott T. Peck, PE.

Allen is commemorating 10 years with PBA and is a vital member of its commissioning group. Allen received his Bachelor of Arts degree in energy engineering from the University of Arizona. He is a LEED Accredited Professional, a registered engineer, and a Qualified Commissioning Process Provider. Allen has played a significant role on many of PBA’s commissioning projects including, most notably, the Detroit Medical Center’s Sinai Grace Hospital. He is a member of the Building Commissioning Association.

Mrak, a mechanical engineer, has been with PBA for 12 years and is part of its K-12 group. Mrak has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Walsh College. One of Mrak’s most notable project contributions is his work on the L’Anse Creuse Public Schools Bond Program. A registered engineer, Mrak is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers.

Electrical engineer Peck has been with PBA for 13 years and is also a member of its K-12 group. Peck has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Wayne State University and an Associate of Applied Science, Architectural Drafting/Commercial Design from Macomb Community College. Peck has played an integral role on multiple design projects with Spring Lake Public Schools. A registered engineer, Peck is a member of the Engineering Society of Detroit.
