Emerson Network Power’s ASCO Series 336 Paralleling System is based on a transfer switch. The ASCO Series 336 combines paralleling switchgear components, a dual-operator closed transition transfer switch mechanism, and a controller in a single enclosure. The system is configured in a modular design designed to provide flexibility, quick delivery, cost savings, and overall simplicity. Other system management tools include generator management, start next generator on alarm, and run-time management. It is useful for small office buildings, health care facilities, and grid support programs. Generator management automatically starts and stops gensets to maintain a pre-set spinning reserve or safety margin, which is designed to reduce genset maintenance and fuel consumption.
