GE’s Packaged Solutions can integrate multiple critical, costly service solutions into one efficient package that includes engineering, design, manufacturing, assembly, wiring, testing, and commissioning support for power generation, transmission, and distribution applications. These solutions integrate seamlessly with multi-vendor and legacy protection relays and devices and enable easy expansion, installation, and testing, along with flexibility in design, engineering, commissioning, and upgrades throughout the life of a system. A unique set of solutions can be designed and incorporated at any stage in the power distribution process—from power generation, transmission, and distribution, to utilization and automation. In the power generation segment, the Packaged Solutions include fully integrated subsystem solutions for the protection and control of generators ranging from tens of kilowatts to hundreds of megawatts in size. In the transmission segment, they offer predesigned modular protection, control, and automation solutions for transmission system assets.
