Offer quiet operation and flexibility with packaged terminal air conditioner and heat pump (PTAC) units from McQuay International. The units exceed ASHRAE Standard 90.1 efficiency requirements by as much as 14% for new construction units and by as high as 29% for replacement units. The McQuay applied PTAC units may be customized at the factory to suit specific application requirements without extensive field modification. In addition, the units feature ARI-certification and listed performance, which may help users qualify for rebate programs. The core platform uses a cross-tangential fan wheel that provides whisper-quiet operation while delivering maximum airflow with proper air circulation. For replacement applications, the chassis may be configured to fit either a standard 16 x 42 in. wall sleeve or a 16 x 44 in. wall sleeve. Heat options include electric, reverse cycle, top-mounted or sub-base hydronic, and hydronic with supplemental electric heat. Control options include a unit-mounted, programmable or non-programmable digital touchpad, and handheld or wall-mounted RF wireless remote control that eliminates the cost of thermostat wiring.
