The technology protects motors and adjacent equipment without capacitors or resistors and efficiently reduce high output dv/dt from IGBT motor drives while eliminating over-voltages caused by line reflections on motor cables. These filters are designed for loads up to 690 Vac, 30 to 1200 A, and motors up to 60 Hz. They also are designed for motor drives with short to medium cable lengths, applications with frequent braking, and applications where motors are running at high temperature. The filter has a compact, resistor-less design and maximizes efficiency by minimum power loss and low voltage drop.
