Humidity/temperature sensors for all standard HVAC applications offer an expanded signal range of 0 to 10 volts, 4 to 20 mA, and RTD and NTC outputs in 3-5% or 2% accuracy. Cover options include plain, or LCD display with temperature set point and occupancy override. An embedded microprocessor converts the sensor’s digital signal to a continuous 0- to 10-volt DC signal, which corresponds to 0-100% relative humidity. Hot gas reheat with direct digital controls has been added to the manufacturer’s line of rooftop units, including 12.5-, 15- and 20-ton models. The hot gas reheat feature uses native energy from rooftop units to provide comfortable space temperatures while reducing relative humidity levels.
