Software sizing tool for generator set sizing and specifying considers factors such as site conditions, load characteristics and required performance, and provides accurate and timely technical data, robust load models and optimized algorithms to assist in the selection of a competitively sized generator set that best suits a customer’s needs.Unique features include its ability to evaluate load types such as air conditioners, elevators, ultraviolet lights and single-phase NEMA and IEC motors. The software also employs an Internet-based auto-update capability to synchronize the program’s generator set data with the most current technical data, including new generator set product information. Midget fuse
is UL listed up to 600 volts AC/DC and with interrupting ratings of 100,000 amps for AC applications and 50,000 amps for DC. Developers of solar photovoltaic systems can use the fuse to easily comply with NEC 690.9(D), which requires that PV source circuits utilize overcurrent devices listed for DC circuits and having the appropriate voltage and interrupting ratings.
