CFD analysis service diagnoses potential natatorium airflow problems in the design stage. The service helps users design new natatorium air distribution systems or diagnose existing airflow problems in poorly-operating environments. Unlike most commercial buildings, natatoriums are some of the most difficult indoor spaces engineers encounter due to unpredictable variables created by inherently large evaporative forces. For more about CFD services from Dectron, click here .

Backward curved centrifugal fan is available in sizes from 12 in. to 60 in., and is corrosion-resistant fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP). The high-efficiency unit is for use in industrial and WWTPprocesses, fume exhaust and odor control systems. Air and Sound performance is AMCA Certified. Standard and narrow width construction is available to deliver airflows to 90,000 cfm and up to 22-in. SP. For more information about fans from MK Plastics, click here .

UFAD system now employ a pulse-width modulation valve that automatically adjusts individual terminals, using time-modulation logic and digital accuracy to maintain thermostat set points more closely. The integrated motor uses a timed sequence of fully open or closed positions, based on load, to silently supply cooling or heating to the space. Digital technology also allows the system to react quickly to changes in load or desired comfort levels. For more about the York FlexSys from Johnson Controls, click here .

Air conditioners are designed to provide high-efficiency positive cooling for wall-mount and standalone enclosures. This new line of air conditioners offers a wider range of protective capabilities and more BTUs of cooling to protect electronic controls and equipment from potential failure caused by heat, humidity, dust and other contaminants. Units are available in six models with varying footprints and capacities. For more about T Series from Hoffman, click here .
