New Products for Electrical Applications

Arc-flash safety system is comprised of data interface ports, window kits, folding shelves, keyboard box and external data pockets, and provides exterior access to controls. The components of the system isolate workers from energized equipment within the enclosure while meeting NFPA 70E standards for safety. Connector products feature touch-safe female housings, integral positive latches and cable-strain relief. Products are rated at over 350 amps for appropriate applications, and 250 amps at a 30-degree C temperature rise. Units accommodate American wire sizes from 1/0 to 4/0 AWG and metric wires from 50 to 95mm2. Connectors use manufacturer's patented contact technology, providing low electrical resistance and a minimum of 500 mating cycles, with circuit interruption rating. Products are offered in 10 housing types and are IP 20 rated. For more about connectors from Anderson Power Products, click here .

Power supply with control/readout electronics is designed for use with analog mass flow meters and controllers. Units supply power (+/- 15 VDC), display flow rates and offer set-point control. Base model operates a single instrument, with multiple alarm points and field-calibration capability. Upgraded unit operates up to four instruments, with front-panel override for valve shut and purge function, programmable K-factors for different gases, an independent totalizer for all four channels and RS-232 and RS-485 communication.
