New Products for Electrical and Lighting

Digital addressable dimming ballasts, in-line cords and cable tray.

07/17/2007

Digital addressable dimming ballast can dim lights to less than 1% and more than 100% illumination while upholding the efficiency of a non-dim ballast. The new line is said to provide the same architectural fluorescent dimming performance as earlier models but with additional key features. With a dimming range of here .

In-line cord sets are rated for 15 amps, in both single and triple-tap configurations. The portable ground fault product is said to be of heavy-duty construction and NEMA-3R rated. The new cord sets are suitable for industrial, commercial and construction environments, and units can be used indoors or outdoors in a variety of applications including construction sites, machine shops, manufacturing and MRO activities. A bright LED indicator on the sets provides at-a-glance power and fault status, and recessed‘test and reset’ buttons help the user avoid accidental actuation during handling and use. The new offering comes with either automatic reset or manual (safe-start) reset, both of which meet OSHA requirements for open neutral protection. Cable tray system is paint-ready and suited to any application that requires a solid bottom tray that needs to be painted.
