Emerson Climate Technologies, St. Louis, donated a White-Rodgers product training van to Ranken Technical College in St. Louis.

Fläkt Woods, Zurich, Switzerland, and SEMCO Inc., Columbia, Mo., announced the signing of an agreement by which SEMCO’s shareholders are selling the company to the Fläkt Woods Group. Both companies are in the air movement business.

Generac Power Systems, Waukesha, Wis., appointed Clement Feng as chief marketing officer.

R.W. Beckett Corp., Elyria, Ohio, a manufacturer of heating components for residential, commercial, and industrial uses, this year celebrates its 70th anniversary. The firm was founded in the home of Reginald W. Beckett, an electrical engineer, with partner Stanton Fitzgerald in 1937.

Schneider Electric announced that its Wastewater Competency Center, Nashville, Tenn., will award one water or wastewater treatment facility with a complete energy audit, valued up to $30,000. The audit will examine various energy-saving opportunities, including production process scheduling, pump system optimization, variable frequency drives, peak shaving/load shedding, renewable fuel sources, lighting controls, and other operational considerations.
