Lectrus [www.lectrus.com] is the new name for Metal Systems Inc. The company is a Chattanooga, Tenn.-based electrical systems integrator.

The Poole and Kent Corp. subsidiary of Norwalk, Ct.-based EMCOR Group Inc. [www.emcorgroup.com] has received a contract for installation of process piping systems at Constellation Energy Group’s [www.constellation.com] Brandon Shores power plant in Baltimore.

Cambridge, Mass.-based consulting/engineering firm CDM’s CDM/CAPE Joint Venture has received a 2008 Excellence in Construction award by the Guam Contractors’ Assn . The group was recognized in the “Commercial Construction: $25 million to $100 million category” for construction of a base exchange at Andersen Air Force Base.

Chicago-based DuctSox —which makes fabric duct-air dispersion products—has named Texas Air Products its 2008 Manufacturer’s Representative of the Year. The Austin-based company received the award during the 2009 AHR Expo .

Baltimore-based engineering/architecture firm RTKL Associates Inc. has acquired Strategic Facilities Inc. The firm and its principals are now part of RTKL’s Applied Technology Group, which services mission-critical, technology intensive operations.

Santa Monica, Calif.-based Master Distributors now offers EBM-Papst Inc.’s line of air moving equipment.
