Silent Knight restructured its sales territories to accommodate growth. The company added two new regional sales managers, Patrick Hudgins, for the South/Mid-Atlantic territory, and Tom Crews, Midwest territory, and also reconfigured its domestic territories to expand sales efforts.

Wrightsoft, Lexington, Mass., hosted its first training class Feb. 5-6 at its recently completed training facility at its new headquarters. Johnson Controls , Norman, Okla., promoted Andy Rowland to vice president, sales and marketing

Automated Logic Corp ., Kennesaw, Ga., acquired ALC Controls , Kennesaw, Ga.. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Combined Heat and Power Partnership recognized American DG Energy , Waltham, Mass., for emissions reductions of the company’s combined heat and power projects.

Carrier Corp ., Farmington, Conn., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) to provide its energy-efficient non-ozone depleting water-cooled chillers to qualified C40 cities and private building owners in the C40.Carrier is the first HVAC company to sign an MOU with the CCI for energy-efficient products.

Schreder Lighting USA , Chicago, appointed Becky Hu to inside sales representative.

TAC , Dallas, appointed Kathleen Heming director of New System Platform Strategy. Heming joined TAC in 1997 as part of the research and development team and moved to the Americas marketing team in 2004.

ABB , Norwalk, Conn., announced two appointments to its North American management team. Greg Scheu will now head ABB’s Power Production division in North America. He previously served as the senior vice president of the company’s Automation Production division. Filling Scheu’s vacancy will be Rick Hepperla, who previously served as local business unit manager of ABB’s North American low voltage drives unit in New Berlin, Wis.
