Software simulates the performance of diffusers and reduces the time and skill required to simulate complex ventilation problems. The software requires commonly available data such as outside dimensions, flow rate and temperature data. The software is available for displacement, square ceiling, round ceiling, vortex ceiling and grille diffusers, and is based on the momentum method, which de-couples momentum and mass flow in the CFD simulations from the room airflow. This method uses the initial momentum and mass flow rate from a diffuser as boundary conditions for the diffusers. For more information about SmartParts and Flomerics, click here

High wind and hurricane exhaust fans are tested and certified to withstand winds as high as 150 mph. Many models are available, including direct drive and belt drive, either for general exhaust or restaurants. The fans feature structural bracing on the interior and exterior of the fans and unique high-wind roof curbs. Each model is licensed for the AMCA seal for sound and air performance. Electrode steam humidifier product line has been expanded, increasing unit maximum capacity to 200 lbs./hr and staged maximum capacity to 400 lbs./hr. Existing models are now available in more voltages and there are two new steam blowers allowing steam distribution in open finished spaces. The models operate automatically and do not require tank cleaning. In addition, there are low up-front costs and minimal maintenance requirements.
