In Binghamton, N.Y., two gunmen entered an immigration services center and opened fire on the people inside. The Binghamton Press & Sun Bulletin reported that 13 people were dead and more than 40 remained as hostages at the American Civic Association in Binghamton.

At the time of the attack, local businesses, residents, and the Binghamton High School students were all notified
