Electro Standards Laboratories has released its Model 6278 Dual Channel ESCON duplex enabled/disabled switch, which allows building owners to control multiple devices using just one product. The switch allows users to enable or disable the connection between multiple devices connected to the in or out ports of each channel. Both channels are switched simultaneously and switch ports are transparent to all data, maintaining their switch position during periods of power failure while continuing to pass data.
