Courtesy of: Schneider ElectricNetBotz 250 is designed for simplified data center security and can be used for IT deployments of varying applications. This scalable environmental monitoring appliance monitors critical IT assets in real-time for protection against physical threats, environmental risks, or human error. The user experience is designed to offer native support for NetBotz connected wireless temperature and humidity sensors for deployment while supporting additional wired sensors, such as spot fluid, vibration, and smoke detection. These capabilities enable immediate detection of common environmental hazards to prevent outages and allow rapid response action. NetBotz 250 is compatible with APC racks and StruxureWare Data Center Expert. The integration with StruxureWare Data Center Expert provides centralized monitoring and management of connected devices and the physical infrastructure. The rack access control functionality restricts rack access to only credentialed users. Configured alerts and outputs, such as beacon alarms, can be set up to notify IT staff in the event of a breach.
