The AXS line of cooling towers utilize cross-flow technology and are designed to perform efficiently in high-load conditions while utilizing a minimal footprint. Courtesy: EvapcoEvapco's AXS line of cooling towers use cross-flow technology and have a CTI certified capacity range of 312 to 1,148 nominal tons. The AXS is designed to perform efficiently in high-load conditions while using a minimal footprint. The AXS line offers a selection of 20 models in both 12- and 22-ft tall varieties. They are constructed galvanized steel with Type 304 or 316 stainless steel available for the cold water or hot water basins or the entire tower. They also feature two oversized access doors from either side for the plenum section. The cross-flow fill is bonded and bottom supported, which helps minimize air bypass.
