Low-leakage dampers

AAON Low Leakage Dampers are Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) Class 2 certified and allow no more than 10 cfm of leakage at 1 in. wg of pressure. These gear-driven economizer dampers are standard on all AAON rooftop units and available on all AAON air handling unit products. Energy savings can be achieved with low leakage dampers by reducing unconditioned air leakage into the building during both occupied and unoccupied hours. With fault detection and diagnostics available, the AAON Low Leakage Dampers comply with all California Title 24 requirements.

Moisture-removal-efficient dehumidifiers

The Aura Series Q-Pump Inverter+ dehumidifiers are designed with a unique refrigeration circuit and components to achieve high moisture removal efficiency and coefficient of performance (COP). The Q-Pump Inverter+ features electronic expansion valves, a liquid-suction heat exchanger, a non-reverse cycle valve arrangement, a variable speed-driven compressor, and precision capacity control valves and algorithm. The inverter scroll compressor enables the unit to provide a constant leaving air dewpoint during dehumidication mode, even during part-load times. The design also allows for a high COP while in heating mode. Units are available from 960 to 6,750 cfm, 8 to 30 tons.

Water treatment, humidification system

The integrated Low-Maintenance Humidification System is an all-in-one water treatment and humidification system. This system reduces the lifetime maintenance burden and cost of connected humidification equipment. A single controller interface—Vapor-logic—allows users to set up, view, and adjust the humidification and water treatment functions through building automation systems via Bacnet, Modbus, and LonTalk. Automatic messages and alarms notify users when it’s time to service or replace system components. The Low-Maintenance Humidification System produces high-purity water from any municipal or other potable water source, removing over 98% of dissolved solids, preventing chalky scale buildup from overtaking the humidifier’s water tank.

Mixed flow inline fan

The Model EQB mixed flow inline fan combines the best properties of centrifugal and vane axial fans while providing higher efficiency and lower sound levels. Model EQB’s octagonal housing is manufactured of formed galvanized steel panels coupled with a heavy-gauge steel drive frame that provides exceptional strength and durability. An aluminum mixed flow wheel ensures maximum efficiency and low sound levels. Standard universal mounting supports, field-rotatable housing, and removable duct collars allow for easy installation. Available in six sizes, Model EQB offers a performance range up to 23,000 cfm and static pressure up to 3 in. wg.

HVLS industrial fan

AirVolution-D is a re-invented high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) industrial fan powered by D-Drive, a compact electric motor capable of handling consistent torque requirements of a 24-ft diameter industrial fan. The D-Drive eliminates the need for a massive gearbox, making it lighter and eliminating numerous moving parts. The AirBrain processor inside AirVolution-D can automatically adjust to different power sources, allowing users to access real-time performance analytics. Available in six sizes from 6 to 24 ft, AirVolution-D can be installed in ceilings as low as 12 ft high and offers custom color options, blending into the aesthetic of virtually any space.
