Automatic transfer switch

The ASCO 7000 Series Bypass-Isolation transfer switch has a 30-cycle rating in a 600 to 1200 ampacity range and can conduct high-speed transfer between alternate sources of power.

Emerson Network Power expands its ASCO 7000 Series Bypass-Isolation Transfer Switch family with a 30-cycle rating in a 600 to 1200 ampacity range. The ampacity range for selective coordination designs has a withstand close-on rating (WCR) of 30 kA at 480 V. The 30-cycle rating enables ASCO 7000 Series Transfer Switches to be specified for larger, more complex projects. The configuration integrates a new support structure into the transfer switch design that helps the bus bar withstand the dynamic forces generated at 30 cycles, 480 V. ASCO 7000 Series Power Transfer Switches conduct high-speed transfers of loads between alternate sources of power, regardless of ampacity.
